VINTAGE CIRCA 1950s ERA, SIGNED JOSTENS, USA
10K YELLOW GOLD,
MEBA / NMEBA- NATIONAL MARINE ENGINEERS BENEFICIAL ASSOCIATION
BOATING MECHANICS TRADE UNION
SCREW-BACK LAPEL PIN
NO PERSONAL MONOGRAMS OR ENGRAVINGS,
MEASURES 1/2" LONG x 7/16" WIDE,
TOTAL WEIGHT OF ONLY THE PIN IS 1.5 GRAMS
Shows minor wear from use and storage, including light surface marks and scratches.  It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine, and is very clean.  It is straight, not bent, has no personal monograms or engravings, screw-back clutch is tight and secure, with no major issues at all.
Top features the familiar boat engine propeller union insignia and reads NMEBA U&F.  It is hallmarked on the back with the IA of M machinist's makers union mark, 10K and a script letter J in a diamond shape, hallmark for historic and listed USA fine jewelry maker, Jostens's, well known for their corporate and fraternal style jewelry.  It has been stone and acid tested and confirms 10K gold and the screw-back clutch is gold filled / plated.
