Instructions for use:
Soiled coins should be immersed in the LINDNER coin cleaner (item no. 8015) must be cleaned. Place the oxidized (tarnished) gold coin individually in the immersion strainer of the cleaning immersion bath and immerse it in the liquid. Leave in the sieve for a maximum of 2 minutes. Coated coin tweezers (item no. 2014). This allows the coin to be swung back and forth in the immersion bath until it is successful. Very badly tarnished coins can be immersed for 3 to 5 minutes. During this time all oxides are dissolved. In particularly stubborn cases, the diving time can be extended without hesitation. For thorough rinsing, the immersion sieve with the coin is taken out of the bottle and held under running, lukewarm water. Then dry the coin with a soft cloth. Any type of gold coin can be dipped safely. It is advisable to only clean one coin with each work step in order to avoid damage to the surface. Very old gold coins (ancient, medieval) that come from excavations can be immersed for up to 30 minutes. Then sprinkle any adhering particles with the cleaning liquid and rub off with a foam rubber sponge. Then dip again briefly, rinse thoroughly under running, lukewarm water and dry off.
Note: In a well-kept coin collection, dirty coins look ugly and also reduce the value of the collection.
Hazard warning:
Chrome steel sinks must not come into contact with the cleaning bath! Keep contents out of the reach of children! Do not bring into contact with eyes, skin and mucous membranes. In the event of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the label.
Only treat gold coins with this cleaning immersion bath.
