    Description

Up for auction is a 1950 to 1954 "Official Due Book International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers."
The card was originally initiated on July 22, 1907, as stated on the second page of the book, just four years after the Teamsters Union was founded in 1903.
The original card number was X182, which means that the due book holder, my grandfather Edward Mathison, was the 182
    nd
member of the Teamsters in San Francisco.
The book is completely filled with blue and red stamps dated from December 29, 1949, to December 1, 1954.
The book was from the “Brotherhood of Teamsters and Auto Truck Drivers, Local 85 of S.F. Cal. Office 536 Bryant St.”
    The book measures 3 5/8 by 2 3/16 inches.
The book is in used condition but intact with no cuts.
I inherited this due book from grandfather. Now it’s time to sell it to a deserving buyer so I can clean out my closets…one item at a time
